Applied Research Project

For this project I assisted a hair boutique called BriaHair, who specialised in supplying luxury human hair extensions. The boutiques target audience were women aged between eighteen and late thirties, early forties, who take pride in their appearance, appreciating long lasting quality hair extensions. My aim was to help the brand draw more clientele, through making their brand more diverse and attractive to women from several walks of life. I proposed to keep the brand up to date by increasing their online presence. Using Instagram as my base I drew an average of 600 new followers, along with over 1000 viewers, viewing the brands social media accounts. I also organised and executed a photo shoot, which included sourcing models, make up artists, hairstylists and clothing designers.  I also organised a small street campaign. Additionally I organised a documentary about hair styling and hair extensions, interviewing a head stylist at celebrity hairstylist Errol Douglas’ salon in Knightsbridge Central London.
